On a related note the @cables2clouds.com fortnightly news segment is amazing for folks who don’t live in cloud environments but occasionally get asked to help cloud projects or pieces of work out.

Spending time to learn concepts and develop skills instead of chasing minimal viable knowledge for a cert exam pays off so much in the long term.
E.g.: Spent a lot of time on AWS and terraform concepts in late 2021. Most of it’s coming back after a day of labbing & reading impact of new features.

If I had a nickel for every time folks in the tech community publish a highly specific book I need for an ultra niche project at work, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it has happened twice.
