So, fun fact, this is true about pretty much any area. There are some fascinating examples in health - for example, everyone wants to save money and provide efficient healthcare, but also that we should provide any treatment necessary to kids with cancer no matter the cost.
voters have horribly inconsistent and self contradictory beliefs on immigration, if you prime them on in any way on separating “good” immigrants with “bad” ones they will overwhelmingly be pro-good and anti-bad in ways that make no sense holistically
