Even though I barely use mastodon, (I don't enjoy using it) it also has a few features that are great and not available here.

Like f.e. restricting follow requests, excluding your profile and public posts from search results and excluding your profile and posts from discovery algorithms.

I was just saying the exact same thing to @tokono.ma a couple days ago.

I quit my subscription at Spotify a while ago and turned back to buying actual content.

For music that is still relatively easy as there are several paltforms such as bandcamp.com that you can use.

For movies and tvshows, it's a different matter tho...

I actually had a great dentist back in Antwerp. So ever since I moved away regular dentist visits also have been mini to medium torture sessions. 😭
