Found some time to do a bit of work on Fönn, just fleshing out that "delete character before cursor` test, and this test is getting truly ridiculous. 276 lines, and I've only written about a third of it!

Still uncovering bugs in the implementation though, so this is great!

A third of the tests have been filled in, with the remaining parts of the test blank.

Screenshot of code in an editor, specifically a single test case. The test is for a function called `deleteCharacterBeforeCursors`. Only one check has been implemented: deleting from the start of a file is a no-op and has no effect. 11 more steps have been outlined in comments, with a 12th step listed as `TBD`, short for "to be decided" in this context. These steps have been split into sections. The first for "Cursors" where the all of the selections will be defined to be empty, and thus equate to cursors. The second for "Selections" where none of the selections will be empty during deletion. And a final section for a mix of the two.

I'm really excited about the new text sizing protocol in #kitty. Really hoping #ghostty will implement support for this in the near-ish-future.

I made a tiny (and very janky) demo CLI app to play with this a bit. A simple markdown renderer can now actually make headings stand out properly!

I think TUIs have no excuse to not include rich UIs with things such as hover effects and mouse support

Look at the interactivity you can achieve with modern terminals! Imagine having an IDE in your terminal with the same UX as VSCode, JetBrains IDEs, or similar IDEs
