What is a Volosynth?
It's a #solarpunk term a friend and I came up with to replace "robot" and "android" in a story I'm working on.
A black slide with neon writing that says: AR1A & The Symphony Of Souls Terminology & Lingo “Synthro” Short for Sunthrope - “Constructed Human” A gender-neutral Solarpunk replacement term for Robot, Android, or Automaton. This term is derived from the Greek root words for Synthetic “Suntithenai” or “Synth (place together) and “Anthropos” (Human) to form a new, more compassionate name. It is specifically meant to replace both “Android” and “Gynoid” to escape sexist connotations of the later, as well as to move beyond the problematic etymology of the word “Robot” which comes from the Czech word “Robota” (“forced labor”, serf, slave) “Volosynth” Short for Volosunthrope - “Free-Willed Constructed Human” A variation of Sunthrope designated to units that have been granted or observed to naturally exhibit free will or voluntary acts. Adds the prefix “Volo” (Medieval Latin: “I Wish”). Known colloquially as “Volosynths” for short.

it's kinda neat how some canonically queer #deltarune characters match their respective flags, like enby Kris's yellow skin or how Susie and Noelle each make up half of the lesbian colors

so I mixed that with popular queer fanon and my own headcanons to give the cast all their queer color pallets!
