This church minister was rocking Hoy Sunday at church...
It is Joy Sunday today...Hundreds of socks will fly at me for our annual "Sock It To Me". A youth of 12 will share her thoughts on Joy as our Advent Messenger. There will be crazy Christmas costumes, a Joy photo shoot, snacks and children's time will be "JOY: Jesus On You". Let Advent continue!!!

I am so excited for this Sunday Dec 14th at church. It is JOY Sunday and "Sock it to me Sunday!!!" People buy socks, roll them up at when they hear me holler SOCK IT TO ME...and they start throwing the socks at me hollering "YOU'RE GOING DOWN DOUCETTE!!!" I love being a minister!!!

We must continue to speak out against White Nationalist hate groups like this hiding like the cowards they are behind masks in Canada showing up on a bridge in London, ON for 30 minutes demonstrating against immigrants. I see similar misconceptions against immigrants by people I know. #NoRoomForHate

I had a member of the local legion take me to task because I did a church service on Fb Live and she said "your poppy was on the wrong side". I replied...it is reversed on FB Live...did you notice I was playing the guitar left handed also? She felt like a fool. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhh.......

My ugly Santa sweater was a huge hit with my friends at Community Care. People with developmental disabilities can so easily tap into joy and song.

Alberta MLA Shane Gertson compares transgender surgery to livestock castration and says using notwithstanding clause protects children from bad parents. Trans people who worship with us are loved. I will push back on these types of hate filled, bigoted, transphobic and unintelligent comments.
