One foot in front of the other, making sure I did at least a *bit* (no matter how much) in each session of research time I had scheduled, making a plan with my supervisor and then doing the next thing on it - rather than looking up too far and being overwhelmed by the whole project.

Especially if they have distinguished military careers behind them and are yacht-owning single dads with one daughter!

Just unfortunate that you can't block without first clicking through to their profile - given that you can make a good guess from the thumbnail!
