Ayrshire tattie. Pish football, foreign stuff, and one of those wee bottles of nihonshu. Optimist about Verdy, pragmatist about Killie, will moan about both.

Changing carriages on the Hibiya Line cos the one you got on absolutely reeks of pish. Next carriage jammed full of sumo wrestlers.

Genuinely surprised the average is up this year, given the derby was midweek and we just had the one Kokuritsu game. Positive, despite the pretty poor fare on the park.

Kawasaki Frontale sniffing around Matheus, according to one transfer rumour account on Twitter.

Continuing my seasonal tradition of sneaking into the back of the big team/fan photo at the top of a stairwell.
December 1, 2025 at 5:01 AM
Jofuku getting a bit emotional in his end-of-season speech. Team does the photos and goes back into the tunnel to chants of “Jofuku Verdy!” Expect he’ll be around next year.

401,300 season attendance.

Someone invest in us, please.
November 30, 2025 at 7:27 AM
Lost that because of two mistakes in a row, otherwise matched the best team in the country for most of that.

Please play more like that next season, for the love of Christ.

And get one competent bloody striker, eh.

Gouki Yamada thinking he’s Scott McTominay there. Sadly, he isn’t.
November 30, 2025 at 6:56 AM
And of course it’s superstar striker, um, Hiroto Taniguchi who almost draws us level by hitting the post. Antlers roar as the keeper clutches it.
November 30, 2025 at 6:48 AM
38k in today. Every Tokyo Derby should have those crowds.
November 30, 2025 at 6:41 AM
Massive caveat that this is a dead rubber for us and the pressure is off, and Antlers are nervy, but that’s the best half of football on balance we’ve played this season. Slick, dynamic and everything we haven’t been all year. Finishing still pish, right enough, but welcome any triumph.

Another unbelievable shitebag referee. Genuinely the worst halfwits.
November 30, 2025 at 5:23 AM
Former double title-winning manager Yasutaro Matsuki and former player Ryōhei Hayashi on the mics for NHK today. Hayashi was the star when I moved here.

Does feel like a proper occasion today, despite it not really mattering much to us at all.
November 30, 2025 at 4:08 AM
Genuinely nuts.
November 29, 2025 at 2:54 PM
That was nuts. That save at the end from Varen. 🤯

Imagine waiting at Fukuda Denshi, watching on your phone as a JEF fan. 😭

Would also recommend DAZN's multi-game screen for the games today, should be a belter.

Wife and kid down in Osaka for a couple of weeks. Got sent this of her listening attentively to Kuroda.

74 all in, with the vast majority in Scotland and Japan, obviously. A few others scattered across England, Ireland, Russia, Austria, Hungary, Czechia and Estonia. A couple of other non-game visits - the map shows them, but doesn’t count them in the total.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS
November 18, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Denmark look stronger, slicker, more dynamic than us, so still a very high likelihood we mess this up from here, but that is one of the all-time great Scotland goals.

三木谷対藤田 in the battle of the charmless sugar daddies, then.

The magic of the cup lost on the good people of Machida, judging by that Zelvia end.

New look for me, as I try to distance this account from my Twitter one. More J.League focus and less railing against the wholesale destruction of global normative values over here.

Anyway, here's me dressed up like a provincial administrator on the Nakasendo.
