I will never forget my first C on an English assignment my junior year of HS. (AP/IB course) Or when the prof of an "easy A" class gave me a B on the final because he "expected more from me," or the B I got in college Health class bc I wasn't available to volunteer at a Fub Run for extra credit.

The truth is, I was holding myself to a higher standard than any professor ever would. And because of that, my teachers in HS and college expected higher level writing out of me, even when the standards for an assignment were simply not that serious.

I just had a hysterectomy for endometriosis. They thought I could have adenomyosis, turns out my uterus was covered in fibroids and had a tiny tumor inside. It was also, at time of extraction, preparing to bleed like a normal cycle, despite 8 years of continious hormonal suppression. 😬

The other day I saw a minivan with a bumper sticker saying "real women drive trucks" and I was like...that's not a truck, do they just have strong feelings about what other people should drive?

Pelvic floor tension and/or weakness! And the pelvic floor is connected to so many other things, and pressure on even one nerve or muscle can drastically affect urinary urgency.
