An all-timer. I prefer the Pokémon Puzzle variants, but you can’t go wrong with this engine. Just seeing the cover makes me want to jam some games, though that’s an easy way to evaporate a day or five. But you get real bang for your buck cuz you’ll be playing it on the inside of your eyelids, too.

These minute, inconsequential differences are so neat. I recall there was a card that lost flavor text steam each printing, initially starting with an exclamation point, then eventually getting reduced to a period, but I can’t remember the card. It’d be cool if there were a log of these odd ducks.

They simply must root out all these deranged collaborators as a matter of safety when they get back in—investigate & fully prosecute anyone perpetuating any of this plain corruption. The failure to do this is how we got here to begin with, not just from the first go-around, but also Reconstruction.

I understand the calls to action, but what I don’t get is why so many physically have to point downward & say “comment down below,” as if there were anywhere else to comment; it isn’t NicoNico, where the comments fly across the screen—& can’t they just say “comment” & cut redundant “down” & “below”?

I’m guessing this means unlike Final Fantasy, Nickelodeon, or at least Avatar, made an arrangement so their stuff can be made Deals. So maybe I should just bite the bullet and go for the FF alt arts I was hoping to wait for. I don’t know much about FF, but they seem not terribly collaborative.

I always wondered if it was worth it to switch to a new computer when my old one was seemingly doing just fine—it just got a notice that it would no longer receive updates and Windows would stop supporting it or something, which sounded frightening. Were those just scare tactics to induce a switch?

I absolutely despise how specifically they named the New Capenna triomes, but at least the Ikoria ones are united with a word in common, though I am only just now starting to remember which refers to which. They obviously couldn’t go with “Jeskai Triome,” but I still wish they were easier to parse.

A genuinely frightening and unsettling flavor text, and it’s not even a horror-based set like something from Innistrad.

There’s always Isoroku Yamamoto, whose big day is coming up, or that guy in the shack in the woods mailing all those packages—I can never remember how to spell Ted’s last name…not Cruz, the other one.
