I think it’s a variety: desperate, angry, broke, oppressed, naive or uneducated. And the media plays a big part in hyping, embellishing, lying. We need to call it all out. It’s less about every day Americans and more about “the tail wagging the dog”. Social media expanded that system exponentially.
