I picked up this album, sight unheard, at a thrift store for $1.

It turned out to be a fairly solid folk/acoustic band of young college students from LA.

A nice chill listen!

Before the death of their keyboardist Bill Doss, The Apples were cooking. A blend of psychedelic synth and intoxicating Beatles pop. If you're not down for some VERY poppy pop, don't bother.

This is a fantastic showcase for both bands. Any one of these tracks could've been a single on an album, and you get a beautiful hodge podge of power pop, emo, folk, and rock.
