I'm fine I'm just driving through rural North Dakota and crying about how beautiful it is and how much indigenous North Dakotans deserve to have their land back with reparations and actual investment so we can see indigenous futurism genuinely thrive in the Midwest.

An anatomy guy, he designed his shoes to be both beautiful and functional for women who were suddenly working on their feet. Invented the wedge shoe for comfort and materials shortages during the war. And my favorite, he hated logos; most of his work is recognizable only by the distinctive clasps.

Ferragamo is super interesting in that regard because much of their famous work happened around WWII, and he was such a pragmatic guy that he became iconic for good reasons.
