Trying to get myself to a place where I can make things better instead of complain about the way things are.

My original notes were for her to be a powerful mercenary who was skittish and often ran from battles, but "I am nothing without representative objects" to "true strength comes from within" is a satisfying character arc.
No real need to reinvent the wheel there.

Anyways I've more or less landed on a rabbit girl mercenary support character who temporarily joins the party before she loses / breaks her armor in increasingly comical and obtuse 90s anime ways that cause her to leave and eventually return with a different set of armor each time

Also, near the end of the game Dogs is temporarily unplayable because he goes with Janine to the Wave Tower.
All the game's cutscenes are hard coded to have models appear in set places, so certain cutscenes (like the above) have Dogs pop in even when he's not present.
I call it the Double Dogs Dare.

Runner-ups:
In Blue Stinger, the timer for Devlin the store manager's death doesn't start until you speak with him, so it's entirely possible to give him his medicine before he asks for it, skipping the initial conversation.
Speaking to him is optional, so technically he only dies if perceived.

I gotta hold out that all this can't be for nothing, that these tools that enable people to unleash their creativity can't be destroyed so easily.
Better things are always possible.

I told myself if/when I ever got back to social media posting I was going to try to find more positive angles, and holy shit now's clearly not the time, so it's back to the Hole of Not Being Perceived until further notice
