“ I saw it . . . You know , what you were writing before . It fell out your pocket . ”

He wrapped his large arms around Cyrus's middle , pulling him into a warm , tight embrace . He squeezed the small horse firmly against his chest , his fluffy tail thumping a happy rhythm against the cushions .

Chase's attention shifted downward . He picked up the slip of paper and read it .

While Cyrus was still turned away , the big golden saw his chance . he reached out his strong hands , firmly grabbing Cyrus by his hips and pulling the equine backward to settle him right onto his lap .

His ears perked up , and he tilted his head at a curious angle , Staring down at Cyrus with a puzzled but happy look .

“ You think i’m cute ? ”

He leaned in close , before giving Cyrus a lick on the cheek . He then took the glass of milk from the smaller male's hand .

He'd use his long tongue to lap at the peanut butter stuck to his nose and around his mouth, his tail wagging .

“ oh , yeah , sorry about that . I kinda got hungry . . . ”

Chase just grinned like the big idiot he is , still licking at the peanut butter that was stuck to the roof of his mouth .

" Hm ? Watcha doin' ? "

He's holding the jar in his hands , his nose and muzzle completely covered in peanut butter .
