I believe (as a former NCMEC-er) it’s only about 50% of their funding. But a lot of specific roles at NCMEC are funded by DOJ grants, entire teams exist at NCMEC because of these grants, and other teams would be gutted without funding

It’s a lot, appx half their funding. Most of the rest comes from corporate donations and private donors

I understand what you’re saying but the only ones that stopped them from hearing of those plans were themselves, by refusing to educate themselves. The information was freely available. I’m tired of caring more about other people than they are willing to care about themselves
