The only good thing about this year is I got with the love of my life and my soulmate. Everything else can fuck right off.

I thought I used up all my bad luck after my birthday. I definitely did not. lol.

Anyway. Yeah. That's why I haven't been around on this account. My brain hasn't had the capacity to do much of anything online because being on a computer stresses me out sometimes and stress can cause seizures.

I'll try to be more active, but no promises.

I also know what to do now if it happens again. Thankfully, I have a med that can be used as a rescue medication. I've mentioned this to multiple people so they know to give it to me if I don't come out of a seizure.

Oh, and I was also diagnosed with gastroparesis between all this. Fun, huh?

I faced my own mortality when I had one seizure after another, not coming out of them at all. According to my best friend, I had 15 seizures in one night. My memory has been shit so I don't remember any of this.

I know now that my seizures are focal impaired awareness ones.

Fast forward to the past couple of months, I had walking pneumonia, then actual pneumonia. My seizure med stopped working. I had over 20 seizures in a week. I had a sleep deprived EEG in May and it was discovered that I had epilepsy.

They didn't do any testing at the time because they thought it may have been a one off. I ended up having multiple seizures a day and told I have partial seizures in clusters.

I was put on two different medications to try and control them. The second one finally worked.

But not forever.

This year has been hell for me regarding my health. I had norovirus a day after my birthday. In November 2024, I had a potential seizure, lost consciousness, and fell down ten stairs, giving myself soft tissue damage and a concussion.

And after THAT, I had a confirmed seizure and ended in the ER.
