5 star book review- Blood magic. Broken oaths. Life or death dilemmas. This is what Bloodwoven is made of. G.J. Terrel plunges is into a complex, layered world of wars, intrigue and sorcery. The story is compulsive and fast-paced, and the writing is accessible and evocative. The characters struggle, and doubt and strive to make things better and the author does a great job of taking us along for the ride with them. Bloodwoven is a modern-feeling book written in the tradition of classic epic fantasy. Highly recommended!
