Today I went to an early Mass at St Joseph’s on 6th St in Greenwich Village.
Why? Because I’m remembering my immigrant ancestors. My great great grandmother Lizzie Devlin was baptised here on March 6th 1853, held by her immigrant parents Ann White and Edward Devlin, from Armagh, Ireland.

I just ran into this: if you ask Grok on X about the shutdown, it will insist that passing the Republican Bill is the only correct thing to do, and that requiring extension of the ACA Credits is less important than re-opening the government immediately (example attached).
