While Congress wastes time, every scammed senior, every ripped-off artist, every deepfaked teenager, and all the countless other victims of AI-powered abuse across the country are relying on their states to pick up the slack and protect them.

A moratorium does nothing but throw them to the wolves.

No matter the speaker’s excuses, everyone with any sense knows this delay was all in service of impeding the Epstein Files. Mike Johnson refused to do his duty for nearly two months just to buy sex criminals a little more time for their coverup, and Americans will never forget it or forgive him.

The Senate’s deal doesn’t just provide no legitimate path towards extending ACA tax credits, but it essentially rewards Trump and his Republicans for the campaign of cruelty they’ve proudly inflicted upon the American people.
