(3/5) State and local transportation agencies have made clear that without addl resources, they will be forced to make large cuts to their maintenance & safety work on our roads & bridges—meaning more potholes, fewer snowplows, and longer emergency response times. #ORpol #ORleg

(2/6) One stat I am most excited to see is the continued decline in child poverty, falling from 21.6% in 2014 to 13% in 2024. This is a long-term shift that mean tens of thousands of children will have more stability, more opportunity, and a better start in life. #ORleg #ORpol

(2/3) As a result, our state has kept about $4.5 billion in fed funds, & spent a tiny fraction of that on legal costs. This has kept resources flowing to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, OHSU research, and schools serving our most vulnerable kids. #ORpol #ORleg

(2/4) In July, Republicans in Congress passed a budget bill that cut off federal funding to Planned Parenthood, including funding for cervical & breast cancer screenings, birth control access, and STI treatment. No other Medicaid provider was targeted in this way
