Congresswoman Nanette Barragán
@repbarragan.bsky.social
Honored to represent California's 44th District, #CA44. House Democrats Steering & Policy Co-Chair, Member of Energy and Commerce Committee, Progressive Caucus. Dodgers fan.
That’s why I introduced an amendment today that would reduce internet bills each month — so all Americans can access online education, health care, and workforce opportunities.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social continue to fight back and when we’re back in power, ICE and the admin will have to answer for their actions.

We heard from several witnesses how these operations cause immigrants and US citizens alike to live in daily fear. The ICE raids and abuses continue to terrorize communities and rip apart families. These actions are un-American and, in many cases, unlawful.

Gracias, Jesse. Your fight to protect residents from pollution & chemical disasters, establishment of the first community-led air monitor network in Wilmington, and prevention of the expansion of highways & rail yards next to schools and homes have helped make #CA44 safer & healthier. Rest in Power.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social called it out then and will vote tonight to reverse this Republican corruption scheme.

Yet Republicans are pushing a bill in @EnergyCommerce.bsky.social that would cut these officials out of the approval process and allow projects to move forward, even if safety inspections, environmental reviews, and cultural protections aren’t done. That’s not progress— that’s just dangerous.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social have a bill to extend the health care tax credits for 3 yrs that we can pass RIGHT NOW.
November 19, 2025 at 3:46 PM
- Made massive cuts to Medicare and Medicaid

- Took a 7-plus week vacation, did NO WORK, and shut down the government

- They created this health care crisis and have NO plan to stop premiums from skyrocketing

Republicans are more focused on paying themselves than paying for health care for Americans. @housedemocrats.bsky.social will continue to ensure the fight to keep health care affordable is a priority.

Working families need Republicans to come to the table with Democrats to extend the tax credits that help lower the costs for health insurance. @housedemocrats.bsky.social won’t rest until this is done.
