Happy forthcoming thanksgiving. This is one of 30-ish wild turkeys that sometimes visit us from a large colony, over a hundred strong living in the Santa Cruz mountain. They can fly 20-30 feet in the air. They sleep in the Madrone and Douglas Fir trees to stay safe from coyotes, bobcats, foxes.
