We need to change the party with our votes and our pressure. Politicians respond to the pressure of aware and active constituents, but only when there are enough of us to matter. We need more people like Bernie who never waver in their belief systems or agenda because they really believe in it.

Reject the specific democrats for sure. They need to be ousted. And trust me, I am deeply frustrated with the centrist corporate-owned party in general. However, we're still stuck with a 2 party system, and until that changes, third-party voting is always going to amount to votes wasted.

But I feel you. I saw a conservative FB friend I could have a sane conversation with, turn full blown super spy Qanon over 3 years. At first I was amused, but at this point it is so racist it's sickening and full-on batshit crazy.

I love Katie Porter. She's both right and tough as nails. She doesn't get intimidated by the big boys in suits. Smart as hell. I would vote for her if I had a chance to in a heartbeat.

For the sake of sanity, keep in mind that a large number of them are probably just bots anyway. Bots serve many purposes, and probably one is to try to exhaust people like us. Protect your fire, friend!

This is exactly the goal and tactic of white Christian Nationalists, spoken in plain language and plain sight. There is no "Muslim problem" that isn't ignorance and hate fueled. There are always extremists in any religion. I dislike religion.
