Americans have been expected to shrug off mass shootings of our children at school & mass shootings in community spaces: supermarkets, concerts, movie theaters, malls, synagogues, churches, bars, night clubs, work, etc. Murder of innocent people has been desensitized. This is a result.

Religions require people to believe nonsense- tons of nonsense. "Faith" is taught to believe all the things that have no proof and are often outlandish. When you are brought up in an environment like this, it effects your reasoning skills.

They are both addicts- addicted to acquiring and hoarding money & wealth.
If they were behaving this way with anything other then money, people would recognize the disfunction.
