Romance writer and reader. I like making stuff. Obsessed with Watergate.
Moving more into cash (without touching tax-exempt stuff, which you said, but I think that always bears repeating).

I liked the old schedule so this looks great, and also I forgot to reply to be added to the feed so could you add me please?

I may have already bought myself a Moby-Dick tee for Christmas. But I would also def get myself a bookclub-specific tee.

It's the closest I will probably ever get to meditation, and all the people kinda ruin it.

lolol I love to run. Alone. On my treadmill. Not at 7 am or whatever ungodly hour.

I used to do that until I realized that I love training and hate racing, and everyone talking about the race like it was a special treat was not something I needed to go along with.

I have a half-finished watergate-related romance novel on my computer, and a non-fiction book about Mary Chennault, Martha Mitchell, and Rose Mary Woods mentally planned, so... yeah. I sympathize.

Ha I wasn't trying to imply a request! It just feels like most everyone ignores that night or treats it as just a weird little moment and my instinct is that there's a lot more to it.

I've always wanted to see a play or movie about that night, or read a detailed book about it. It feels incredibly significant for understanding those years.

I've always loved that one and I've had it, and the original John Brown's Body, rolling around my head the last few weeks.

Benedict Arnold always seemed like the most pathetic pick-me fuckboi, traitorous for the most venal reasons. idk if that bears out. Alternately, John Adams was famously annoying in a Thoreau sort of way.

I feel like Caroline Lamb was probably just as annoying as Byron, and maybe less cruel than he was.

I’m fine conceding that a bunch of nebulously incriminating Epstein statements do not a story make, but in that case neither does the Biden Parkinson’s nonsense, or literally any component of the various Clinton/Wikileaks pseudo-scandals, or tons of other right-wing stuff the paper has laundered

They really are the republicans of the 70s turned up to 11 in a lot of ways. Although I don't think Stephen Miller has a good parallel, and I don't think there's a Liddy or a Hunt figure now, not really.

Vance seems to me more like a John Dean-type who thinks he'll get away with it all. Trump is his own anti-press attack dog, like Agnew. And then there's all the bribea.
