Worked quick to get the head mostly done by EOY for a trial run @ #PDFC. Indecisive on eye design, popped in some basic pupils.

My Creators Constructive Criticism for my next one: Use a pattern, at least for the neckwrap. That way it won't attach so weirdly.

Second stage of production: Sewed up a neckwrap/mantle and the front & sides of the head are done by December. *After* getting this far I decided to get a sewing machine, better late than never I suppose

Wanted to make a good friend a gift but wasn't sure what. Remembered LSFC & figured I'd make a partial for them. I know they like blue-jays but have never seen any art from them, so I just free-handed based on the real bird. Kept it a surprise but they suggested taking progress pics starting Nov '25
