for me one of the most important things about second puberty has been realizing that i can navigate it without making it the cornerstone of my identity and i wish this was more broadly known to people either on the cusp of or early in transition

part of the reason everyone was so hesitant to approach the subject of me possibly being trans when i started at work was because the office's only prior (and recent) experience with Gender had been a they/he tenderqueer who rubbed everyone the wrong way and poisoned the well on their way out
