How will you hold them accountable?

Shut the government down for a month again and then cave gaining nothing?

Or is the next time the one where you finally try something different?

And what if your friends side with the Republicans again? What then?

So what happens when Trump has awful polls and everyone is on the Democrats side?

Exactly the same thing. Capitulation. Except this time we had a few days where we really felt we could survive this.

And all of that was snatched away because a couple of old farts got spooked by plane delays. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If the people you’re tasked to lead won’t follow you, then you should stop being the leader.

You going to tell this to the folks who ended what we thought we were fighting for?

Or are you telling us to just accept that those folks turned into the GOP for a single night and now we’re supposed to believe we’re on the same side again?

Your friends betrayed us. We have a right to be mad.

The problem when it comes to the Dems in the Senate and much of the party at large is that it feels like we hate to win.

Like it’s somehow unseemly and rude to get what we want. Everything needs to be qualified and softened lest someone take offense.

And the GOP pops champagne as people starve.
