Goal: Calm the Storm at Work
As many of you know, making games can be chaotic. Especially this last year in our industry, everything feels unpredictable. I made it a goal to be a calm center for the people around me rather than whipping them in to a frenzy and learned a ton along the way.

Goal: Build and Tend a Garden
This one was a life changer! I put a few raised beds in the back yard and learned how to garden. I spend some time every morning out there tending to it. I eat fresh vegetables all the time. I’m determined to always have a garden in my life now.

I failed at this in 2023 so I made this a goal again. And yet again, I fell short. I just didn’t prioritize getting out in to the wild. But I did have quite a few amazing moments in the wild and I’m choosing to appreciate that.
