Yes that too. But home ownership is a distant dream for many as we speak specially in states like NY and CA. Not many can afford those mortgage payments as they are right now

Funny but I’m all for homeownership for everyone, no matter what it takes. I’ve seen how much renters suffer while prices keep going up making the rich more richer. Everyone deserves a place to call home.

And what about businesses and multi-millionaires buying dozens of homes just to rent them out at absurd prices every year? They manipulate the market and exploit renters. Owning a home, even with a long mortgage is still better than being at their mercy

How exactly?

It’s better to have a place to call your own even if it costs more over time rather than to keep getting squeezed and blackmailed by greedy landlords who raise rent every year.
