Here's to a LOT of new sweet tunes, and artists getting paid more fairly.

I mean...some of these were an absolute steal though. Like, we got someone's entire discography for less than $10...

But maybe not, bc my regular McD's usually gives me fries that are so fresh and hot that I can't eat any in the car.😅

Why am I even posting about it?
I don't know. Maybe I just needed some fresh air and a brain break.

The Coke is the same, which is good bc the fountain Coke and wide straw were also part of the *need*.

I didn't get fries, which might have made for a better comparison?

I don't go to McDonald's super often (still don't know if I was just craving beef, or what?) but, like...

I thought it was all super standardized?

Have I been taking my normal McD's for granted?

I think my last visit to the other one was even around the same time of day, so not super busy...

But all my other errands are in the opposite direction, so I went to the other McDonald's (on E. Williams).

And my faithful double cheeseburger was pretty sad. Somehow both extra greasy, and also...lukewarm? Like not hot enough to make that much extra grease?

I don't know what's going on there, but I wholeheartedly approve.

We're starting with Grumpy Old Men, but we will get to Hanks!

And we have a whole long weekend for it, which is amazing.

So happy Harvest, Thanksgiving, T. Hanksgiving, or whatever you celebrate to you and yours.

Anyway, this year and season has been a lot, and traveling to two different families in Virginia is also a lot.

So we stayed home.

We're in comfy pants, laughing and heating up some pretty much ready-made food, and watching movies.

Her: You should just hang out, day drink, and watch Tom Hanks movies!

Me: 😮 This is the best idea I've ever heard.

And so, that year, that's what we did and it was glorious.

And it became our tradition for a couple of years, until I left retail and we were expected to normal-Thanksgiving.

They are still hilarious this morning.
