Ideally you want ones that are long enough to go into the brick, especially for something like a guitar where it's a bit heavy and you really don't want it to fall. 40mm ones would do the trick. Brick is a much more solid anchor than drywall. How long are the ones you're finding?

With wall plugs you drill a hole into the wall of the size specified by the plug, then you tap it into the hole you've drilled and you can run a screw into the wall plug nice and securely. Then you could use any wall mount guitar mounts in the holes you drill

If you can drill into the bricks you can use wall plugs and get a very secure mounting. Need a masonry bit and a hammer drill to do it but much stronger than drywall anchors

Everything about how policing works in the UK seems fucked from every perspective, but surely another bullshit data guided results driven task group to unify the previous units will work this time!

Also isn't that exactly what the NCA is??

Whilst Cryptography isn't my strong suit I did notice meshtastic seemed to have fairly weak security, an idea I've been thinking about is to implement some sort of out of band key exchange like NFC tags or just entering a code on both devices and then treating the mesh as an untrusted channel

There exists a bluebrixx DS9 and it's awesome! Rather delicate though, accidentally bumping into it sends bits everywhere

Are these minutes publicly accessible anywhere?

If the customer service center is unable to fulfill their conventional service of helping customers because of this it will impact their bottom line and they might rethink their policies in light of that

That's very fair. Just in general used business laptops tend to be good deals, large firms will buy a million, use them for two years then buy another million when they've still got lots of life in them, and they're built tougher from the start Too

Used Dell laptops from eBay or EuroPC are usually a good buy, my old latitude has lasted me about 5 years of daily use and was about 500 quid. If you get one with the pro support warranty remaining on it dell techies will come to you to fix any issues for free

Would these changes require new legislation to be passed rather than through the current systems of guidance and court cases transphobes have been using to push their agends
April 13, 2025 at 9:12 AM
I'm not too familiar with the legislation but I thought it wasn't permitted to make people disclose a GRC? Or did I imagine that

Those sorts of dumbass questions are so typical of the bootlicking British media lol. It's good to see them be shut down
April 11, 2025 at 10:24 PM
In the UK it feels like most cis people just do not care enough. My own parents react to news of things getting worse for trans people with total apathy, even when I spell out how the latest horrifying changes will make it harder for me to live. I wish things would get better

A GitHub pages site can host for free. I think they do templates for a basic blog system that doesn't need any major technical screwing around, although you can build it from scratch if you want to
