One of the great things about seeing BTTF was hearing that great score remastered, feeling it all around me, and realizing how so many of his 80s/90s scores have been living in my head more than any other film composer.

I’m curious has anybody stopped using Letterboxd because of how big it’s become? Or because so many use it to prove just how hilarious or clever they are? I love the logging and stats but that’s it.

I miss my friend. Going to movies alone is enjoyable but I do miss being able to see a movie with Dave and having that conversation about the film after.

My new least favorite thing I'm noticing are ads for movies using letterboxd reviews. We used to employ actual critics. If they want those people do the ole catch them after the movie for a sound byte way. Have you seen people's thoughts on letterboxd?
