If you have the shiny charm, it helps the odds a lot! It took me months to get my Suicune, I nearly crashed out over it lol

The black model is very slick, especially with the OLED. I almost got the black model, but I’ve increasingly leaned towards white “tech” so I don’t lose track of things on dark furniture 😅

Device: Ayn Odin 2 Mini
(pretty sure I have the 12GB model)

GameHub runs New Vegas at 30-60fps, depending on the area I’m in. Battery usage is reasonable, though the fans start to rev up to keep temps manageable. Steam Cloud saves work like a charm!

This method is safe, doesn’t break system services, and doesn’t require any scripts—just built-in settings under Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Delivery Optimization → Advanced options.

Be sure you turn off downloads from other devices as well, if other Win 11 PCs are in your house!

This won’t disable updates (Windows 11 Home doesn’t really allow that), but it does stretch out the download time. Big feature updates can end up taking several days to pull down at a very low bandwidth limit, which often means you avoid the worst day-one bugs while Microsoft patches those issues.

Windows 11 actually has built-in options for limiting how much bandwidth Windows Update can use. It doesn’t completely stop updates, but it does make them download much more slowly, meaning fewer surprise restarts and more control over when updates finish.
