That's so neatly done! All of it, the sweater, the fabulous crochet line... And the fantastic choice of colours, love it! 😍

Wow, that's impressive! Raglan is a very good choice, too. All the best for weathering the storms sleeve island! 🏝️

Tubular is beautiful, and a PITA at the same time, esp in the round. A friend of mine did a blog/video thing on a very easy method, in case you need backup instructions: nimble-needles.com/tutorials/ea...

I've got a Felix cardigan at that gauge and in a lovely moss green Lopi. Still incredibly warm. If you like the texture, go for it.

I'd go up whatever needle size it takes for a washed and blocked swatch. I'm a tight knitter in general, and I knit continental, which also produces a tighter fabric than English/U.S. styles. I would probably need a 6 mm needle at least, if not more.

I hope you had fun! Why do I think that you've been to Wolle Wien? 😅

It is totally gorgeous 😍

And I'm saying this as someone who usually frets for hours about pattern placement in cases like this because her brain demands perfection. Knowing better does not mean that I'm doing it better. 😅

Are you in that place because of the short rows for the neck? Unpopular opinion, but one can always reattach the yarn wherever one wants it and see in the ends later. It's only a beauty contest for the inside of the sweater if you want it to be.
