Recently drew my Kalos Sona Lyra's Z-A appearance and I figured I'd show it here alongside her X and Y appearance ^^ definitely helps that I drew the left picture all the way back at the end of February so the difference is really noticable-

Then throughout the months, Lyra had begun climbing the ranks of the Z-A Royale, slowly gathering a new team, helping with the rogue mega evolutions, and just overall doing what she can. Overtime she slowly feels the same connection to Kalos that she had as a child and she wanted to protect it

Ever since going into a burnout, Lyra stopped putting effort into her appearance and mostly wore very casual clothes. But with some encouragement from Naveen and Lida, some time later, she tried being fashionable again like she used to and had gotten a number of outfits she wears on occasions

But seeing as they really did want her help, especially Urbain, she decided that she would do it, just one last time she'd try to do something as a trainer, which would spark her declaration to have a fresh start. Early on, she was still in some habits she picked up, especially with her clothes

Urbain had given Lyra a Tepig she named Apollo and in the first month, she got to know him better as well as meeting Lida and Naveen and seeing AZ again. After some time, Urbain asked if she would join Team MZ since she's a strong trainer (none of them know about Hino yet) but she declined at first-

This really destroyed Lyra's mental state that despite all of the attention she had gotten, the praise she received, the amount of events she was invited to, all of it felt like nothing, the complete opposite of what she wanted now that the most important person in her life was gone forever.

Her partner, Hino, is a Fennekin (now Delphox) she received for her 16th birthday (1 year before the story) since Lyra always dreamed of having a Pokemon herself. Even after all of the events and the eventual downward spiral Lyra fell into, Hino still stayed by her side as her loyal partner.
