Spectacular Mermaid, a Creature from the Black Lagoon themed Magical Girl. She has blue scales, and webbed hands and feet and claws. She has a fish tail for a ponytail. She looks nervous. She has a scale necklace, and a green dress. Lorena Costa was a shrinking violet with a love of swimming, and always wished to be able to breathe underwater. That love remained unchanged even when she was attacked by a merman. With encouragement from Laura, she managed to become the last member of the Spectacular Specters: The Spectacular Mermaid She can control water, and has the physical abilities of a mermaid.

Specular Mummy. A black girl with curly brown hair. She has mummy wrappings, gold high heels, and a white dress. Her necklace has a tyet symbol. Auset Calamawy never really gave much thought about her culture. At least until it aggressively came to her. She had a chance encounter with the Forgotten Pharaoh, who tried to literally steal her heart. Thankfully, the Spectacular Spectres stepped in and helped. But since they were overwhelmed by the Pharaoh's powers, Auset asked Netopir to give her the Pharaoh’s power, and she became the Spectacular Mummy She can control her bandages with her mind, and much like her namesake, has great magical power. She can heal her allies, and make her wrappings take on a wing shape to fly and shoot wind. She’s always struggled to express herself, and open up to others. But being with the other Specters has allowed her softer side to come though

OCTober Day 19: Spectacular Werewolf

The 3rd member of the Spectacular Scares. I've always like the idea of a Vampire and Werewolf rivalry.

Spectacular Werewolf. A werewolf magical girl with light skin, a black dog nose, sharp teeth, and brown fur. She has sharp claws and a black dress. She has a necklace shaped like the full moon. Kagero Hayashi was a short-tempered high school girl who always ended up as Carmilla’s rival in one form or another. So it was extra frustrating for her when Spectacular Vampire saved her from a werewolf, and yet turned out to be Carmilla. Not one to back down from a challenge, she tried to fight the werewolf herself, so Netopir had to step in and give her its powers, and thus she joined the squad as the Spectacular Werewolf. She’s got all the powers of a wolf: speed, highest awareness, and claws and fangs to fight back against opponents.

OCTober Day 19: Spectacular Experiment

The 2nd member of the Spectacular Scares, and one that ties into the latest two characters I posted
Spectacular Experiment, a teenage girl who's taking on the form of a Frankenstein Monster. She has green skin and black boots, with stitches all over. She has a black and white beehive hairdo. She has a necklace that's a lightning bolt, and is emmiting lightning. Her dress is purple Stephanie “Steph” Adames was the daughter of Cipactonal Adames. After his death, she moved in with her mom, and started working as the baby sitter for the Viento family (The Vientos and Adames are close friends). One day she encountered a brainwashed Frankenstein monster, who turned out to have the brain of her descendant father. With the help of the Magical Girl Spectacular Vampire and her mascot Netopir, she got the power to subdue her undead father by becoming the Spectacular Experiment. She has immense strength, and a heightened ability to think and plan. She can also shoot electricity. After bringing her father back to his senses, she joined the growing Spectacular Spectres. In her personal life, she’s always been a perfectionist. Always working hard on studying and staying in shape. Perhaps her dedication to smarts and strength is why she ended up getting the monster power that she did.

Carmilla Mišura was a normal teenage perky goth girl who can’t piece together the fact her friend Laura has a crush on her. Until one day her and Laura found a lost talking magic bat she named Netopir. The three were attacked by a vampire, and to make sure Carmilla could fight back, Netopir bit the Vampire, and then bit her. Thus giving her the power to transform into Spectacular Vampire. She has increased agility and strength in this form, as well as the power to go in and out of shadows, and trap opponents in shadows. She has a cape she can use to create shadows for such a purpose. The vampire turned out to be one of many monsters being created by General Hyde. Netopir has the ability to give people the powers of monsters via a bite, but can only do it around 4 more times. So Carmilla and Netopir are off to find more girls to recruit in this monster battling, monster themed magical girl squad. They’re also aided by Jack Van Helsing, who seems to have some sort of connection with General Hyde.

OCTober: Day 17: Mr. Frankenstien

Mr. Frankenstien, a Frankenstien monster with a square head, green stiched up skin, a black shirt and shoes, a brown coat and grey pants. He has bolts on his head. He also has glasses, which are intended to show that he's an intelligent Frankenstien. Cipactonal Adames was a teacher at Tornado Alley Elementary. He died when Mutant House attacked, and as per his wishes, his remains were donated to science. At least until he became a victim once again. After watching some movies, Mutant Houses wanted to recreate the monsters he’d seen. And one of those was Frankenstein's Monster. One of the parts he stole was Mr. Adames’s preserved brain. And thus, the teacher became a Frankenstein Monster. Tornado Boy and Weapon Boy realized he was more than a monster, and then discovered it had the brain of their old teacher. The two managed to calm the monster down, and he became a close alley. He has no memories of his past life, and feels like he doesn’t deserve the name Cipactonal yet. And thus, he refers to himself as Frankenstein until the day he feels like he can be Cipactonal again. Frankenstein has incredible strength and intelligence. He’s a very fast learner, and he inherited his past life’s love of learning and educating. He quickly regained the knowledge he had in his past life and then some. Whenever a hero needs advice or a plan, he’s the one to call.
