In reality, bombs are no less savage than guns or machetes. In fact they allow for more savagery to take place, because they kill so much more efficiently, and troops can keep killing without losing morale and gaining trauma from the horrors they are inflicting.

Those who got rich in 1980's were the "silent generation" or WWII. Baby Boom lost the right to pensions, unions, health care, mental health care. WE were called "Welfare Queens" if we needed assistance as single mothers. The few who are rich got trust funds & inherited wealth.
