I went to rochester and saw the ontario lake, which has the ocean beach I've been dreaming for, only that it is freezing. It's very fun to walk on freezing sand, crush all the shells under my feet, and look at massive flock of gulls trying to escape from me.

It's been my fifth year living in this country and I'm probably doing two more years before abandoning this place entirely. By the time I leave I'll have devoted 7 years in this country. 7 freaking years. That's equivalent to raising a kid to elementary school level. Can you believe it?

I wanna watch Elisabeth the musical so bad then I found it's not even touring in USA. Why America? Why do you keep all the cool things away from you? Why is every show in you either a stupid romance or some Disney-style fun thing? Why are you so filled-up with capital?

I finished watching “Thunderstorm” today. It’s a great classic Chinese play featuring some sexy creepy incest relationships between siblings, mother and son, and more. We actually have this stuff as part of our high school textbook. My god. It really opened a brand new door for me.

I couldn’t believe that I was good at english before and always thought I’m a bad English speaker. but think about it, I write essay in English, I post in English, I graduated from a english-speaking school, I communicate in English. I…I have to say that I’m pretty good at English now!

After all the late night thought, I feel that editorial illustration is only a work for people lack of moral sense, so they can ignore the betrayal of themselves and indulge in the self-satisfied cleverness of manipulating the viewer’s mind with tricks.

Oh and interesting story. I rode an electric-motorbike to school everyday in highschool and for some reason I was insane at the time and insisted to park my bike next to the entrance of our building. ’cause I park it there everyday so I was very territorial of that piece of spot...
I'm on a secret mission to finish a second master's degree and I gotta say I am not at all a school person. I hated school so much that in highschool I would carry xacto knives and hammer in my bag to go into classrooms. It was a wonder that I finished my master's degree but art school is amazing.
