Thats a shame. My sister has provisionally been diagnosed with MS. Its ravaged my cousin to. Horrible condition. I hope she seeks help.

Do you have 111 there? You can ask for advice withput having to call ambulance etc. Ita more about why she collapsed and if it could happen again if its not her "normal". For your peace of mind.

My mum had falls in the shower. It was due to seizures. She said she just didnt want to go to hospital. This was before I moved in. Had to give her cpr more than once, just to "avoid a fuss".

Making an effort is part and parcel of the holidays. You have handled other tense situations well so I would say dont rule it out. If things dont pan out at least young ones can see you tried.
