And yes, the vet put her to sleep. Because that was the right thing for her. Vets don’t recommend euthanasia for no reason. Euthanasia is the kindest thing we can do for animals in their time of need.

It’s coming up on one year since I lost my beloved Lucy. It’s almost one year exactly since she went to the emergency vet. It has been so hard on me lately. But that doesn’t make me any less grateful for what everyone who cared for her did for us in that time. They did everything they could have

Last year my 30th birthday was truly the worst one I have ever had (I had the flu, Lucy just died, Bear died even more recently and I missed it by a weird happenstance) so this year I am going on a fun trip! Airline rules be damned!

(I love them together because I’m annoying)
