I wish the people who prefer the latter would step up and run and be the change rather than simply sitting out because like it or not there is a difference. Not enough of one but there is. Until we have leaders who wade in we are effed. It’s just a matter of how bad on a scale of very bad.

I feel this. As a woman in a male dominated industry, it is something I have to fight through often. Not always successfully. I’m older now- 20 years in- and I focus on being the person who dares more than the outcome. It helps. Enter the ring!
