You need to first export the animation sequence from blender as a folder of objs. Then adjust the frame range and file path required in the node setup. Be aware that this is a hack and will not play back very well with more than 10 characters, so that is why I am baking it.

Ah, just realised you are one of the devs! I have played with a much older version of tooll years ago. When 4.0 is released, it gives me an excuse to finally learn it properly....

The basic layout for noise displacement. You could also plug the noise into the inbuilt displace node, but I like to roll my own :)

Vignette first and then crt lines. These are shown as node groups to get an idea of what the sockets will adjust. These will work fine on non square aspect ratios. requires 4.5

This will only work in 4.5 alpha since it needs the new image info and vector math nodes. Adjust the map range output for dots size ratio.

Just 10 characters left to right in order of "brightness". This is the one I made and used. You could potentially make it other shapes if you can get the uvs offset correctly.
