honestly i get it. if i had my old friend group physically here, i would be plugged into them only and wouldn’t bother meeting anyone new! the only people interested in making new friends are the ones like us disconnected from their old ones

i try not to come on too strong but like, this girl doesn’t even know she has saved my life just by hanging out with me lol

my teacher and i were the ONLY ladies in that classroom. she didn’t even know me - in retrospect, it was very badass of her to see a girl with a laptop and say “fuck it we need a girl in this class, get in here” and at the same time, like, completely reshape my future lol
