I think run time from that episode/arc. Like... toooo many important things were happening in that moment and things that would wrap up season-long events or things from last season. Just because they didn't spend runtime minutes on it in this already extra long finale episode doesn't mean it's over

This is just a season, not the story. Just like how there is obviously more to Lute, to Angel, to the Vees, to apparently Nifty??, to Alastor and Rosie- there was a much bigger issue to handle in the final episode and there is more to tell with both Lucifer AND Charlie. Why rush a resolution?

Oh for sure!! I started Helluva last year after falling in love with Hazbin and I had some fun with the first few eps but Truth Seekers and Ozzie's hit and I was like "oh they have STORIES to tell!!" And boy oh boy, have those stories consumed my soul 🙂↕️

But whatever it is, I like the idea that he wants himself to be the one who is never forgotten, not just his Sinner self. And I think keeping his name is telling that he has no remorse for his actions in life. ALASTOR is that person, no one else.

I neeeed to explore Alastor to know 😭 I also love that as far as we know, he's the only one who has kept his human name because THAT'S the name/the person he wants to matter to people. As Rosie said he "overcame so much" so why would he choose to bury it? The name Alastor has to mean something

Actually though, I was just thinking about how he doesn't look much like the other POC sinners and I wondered if because his hell punishment is to look more like the men he had to fight so hard in order to succeed- the same men he had to always smile around in order to be heard.

And then there's the pain- would Angel have reconsidered his decision if Husk HAD? Cuz in this moment, Angel is looking over with a last bit of hope. But nothing happens. Then he decides he can only bring misery and isn't safe to be around. If someone had made HIM feel safe, would it be different?

I feel like the turning point was when the battle was won and people started grouping up. He left the tower with Husk and Cherri, he wanted to help how he could- then he sees everyone hugging and being happy and had to face the reality that he doesn't believe he can bring anyone happiness

Like YES, let's please discover great creators but this success wasn't just a lucky break. She put herself out there, built an insane network, took matters into her own hands- there'll always be some luck involved in entertainment but we gotta praise her crazy perseverance.
