Shih-Ching Tsou has frequently collaborated with Sean Baker and her directorial debut, LEFT-HANDED GIRL, is a charming, funny, heart-wrenching story about family bonds. Co-written by Tsou and Baker, who also edited, it features some superb performances and a stellar script. Loved! #filmsy #fyc

Kate Beecroft's directorial debut, EAST OF WALL, is a beautifully shot, thoughtfully told story of grief, perserverance, and heart, told from a female perspective. Love that a lot of the cast are the real people involved and not actors. Really inspiring story. On VOD. See it. #filmsky #fyc

Jodie Foster est magnifique in the somewhat messy, but slyly funny French psychological thriller A PRIVATE LIFE. She has such lovely chemistry with Daniel Auteuil. Fun, genre-bending mystery. #filmsky #fyc

Ethan Hawke gives an incredible performance and completely disappears into the role of Lorenz Hart in Richard Linklater's thoroughly captivating BLUE MOON. The remarkable supporting cast includes Andrew Scott, Margaret Qualley, and Bobby Cannavale. #filmsky #fyc

I'm a fan of the 1985 film, so I was skeptical, but Tonatiuh, Diego Luna, and Jennifer Lopez make KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN completely enthralling. Great performances, wonderful costumes and makeup, and the musical numbers are lovely. 🎥 #filmsky #fyc

Tina Romero's QUEENS OF THE DEAD is funny, clever, and it has a fantastic cast. Probably the most fun I've had watching a zombie movie ever?! On VOD now. #filmsky #horrorsky

Rewatching US (2019) and haven't thought about how much this movie scares me in a long time. I find the entire concept deeply unsettling. Still mad Lupita didn't get a nomination for this because she damn well deserved one. 🎥 #filmsky #horrorsky

THE BREAKFAST CLUB (1985) is easily one of my favorite movies of all time and will always have a special place in my heart. Review of the new 4K and Blu-ray Combo Special Edition from the Criterion Collection coming soon. 🎥 #filmsky

If you loved FRANKENSTEIN as much as I did and you were nerding out like I was over all the amazing technical stuff, you need to watch FRANKENSTEIN: THE ANATOMY LESSON on Netflix. This 45 min. doc goes behind the scenes of making the movie and gives so much great insight. 🎥 #filmsky #frankenstein

Still processing Lynne Ramsey's DIE MY LOVE, but to say Jennifer Lawrence's performance is mesmerizing is an understatement. This movie is brutally personal at times and she goes all in. Robert Pattinson is also great. Lots to talk about with this one. #filmsky #fyc

Richard Linklater's NOUVELLE VAGUE is a visually stunning, beautifully told tribute to Jean-Luc Godard and French New Wave cinema. Zoey Deutch and Aubry Dullin are delightful to watch and Guillaume Marbeck is frustratingly charming as Godard. Loved this! On Netflix November 14th. #filmsky #fyc

Produced by Benson and Moorhead, Peter Cilella's (RESOLUTION) directorial debut, DESCENDENT, is a mind-bending, sci-fi tale of unchecked trauma and parenthood. Outstanding performances from Ross Marquand and Sarah Bolger. On Prime. #filmsky #horrorsky

I got this one on Amazon a few years ago. It's got black rhinestones around the top and going down the cane. Not super noticeable until the light hits it. If you're like me and like sparkly things, you could definitely DIY something similar onto yours.

Had fun with I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (2025), but as someone from the NC coast, I'm offended they chose to constantly remind you where it takes place when it visually is obviously not NC coast. Great story, love the legacy characters, and the end credits scene was awesome. #filmsky #horrorsky
