As I was watching that video the fact that I'd heard conversations exactly like it in games 200 times before hit me like a ton of bricks lol.

And because it's separate from gameplay, the choice could be between some of your best/most useful people you've been sending out everywhere while Flambae always tops the leaderboards even if you haven't sent him to a single gig. Not likely, but it can happen.

What kinda got me was after you have your first real conversation with them as a team where you tell them that they can be better people who can be proud of who they are and what they do, they can proceed to have the best shift ever... but someone still needs to be cut. Felt really arbitrary.

Neo Yokio is such a trip and I want to rewatch it at some point

Idk if that's just me though, I'm rambling a bit.

Slight spoilers for episode 3:

I thought the decision on who to cut from the team came way too early and honestly felt... forced? Kinda wish I could have spent more time with everyone as a team or at least seen them interact more before all that. Game's at its best when everyone's interacting tbh.

Voice acting is really stellar. You can tell they had a great director too.
