… And this is how I liberated my children.
April 3, 2025 at 6:03 PM
My children now have to pay $2.50 per candy bag at the neighbor’s stand, keep producing for my lemonade stand, and find a way to open a candy factory where my future grandchildren will produce the same candy that my neighbor will go on selling for $2.50 (inflation-adjusted).

As a result, my trade deficit with my neighbor is $10, or 50%. My neighbor is a serious offender who needs to pay for this injustice, so I’ll impose a discounted reciprocal tariff of 25% on the candy bags.

I never had a candy stand at home, but the neighbor who buys lemonade from me happens to have one. He charges $2 per candy bag, and my children are buying 10 per day.

I also have 10 children who, for some weird reason, aren’t fully fed by the lemonades they produce for my stand, which they can also buy for $1 during their free time (of course, they have to pay too!). These bastards not only like lemonade, but they also eat candy!
