This turret is really good for my Akroma deck, and pretty good for Laelia. The price is not so good though. Iroh could make a neat option for Laelia too, but her deck is just so tight. 😭

Y'all look, an Anax card! Two red pips, 4 power, and it comes back to die again. 99/100 times this card is designed to come back as a token, but Fang is an early xmas gift. Would make a super-fair commander too (so expect to never see it in the CZ).

Reckless Blaze is another 5 damage sweeper for 5, a very niche subsection of cards I like to play. I need to grab a copy.

An interesting card I missed since its not in the regular set. I like flexible combat tricks, but 5 mana is a lot to keep open if playing defensively.

Naruto doesn't really rank among my favorite characters, but when I do catch an old episode (or in this case the first movie) its easy to remember why I like the kid.

Mary Downing Hahn wrote my favourite childhood book, and my first real taste of "horror", with The Doll in the Garden. And I just found out she is doing graphic novel adaptations of her stories!! This one hasn't been translated yet, but I'm in as soon as it is.

I'm watching this movie No Clue, and 10 minutes in the premise is basically "some guy just does whatever Amy Smart tells him" and I've never seen such realism put on screen. Now this is a character I can identify with.

So waaaaaaaaay back when people playd casual 60 card Magic I had this "combo" and Akroma is still a beast. Hater will tell you Comet Storm or some such nonsense, but you and I both know you make all that mana to have an angry woman crush someone.
